Synopsis/故事大綱:

 The single father Song Danian is a taxi driver. In order to give his son a better living condition, he will also take some private work after get off work. An accident occurred while driving a drunk driver, Song Danian killed someone. He feels very guilty to the families of the victims, and in addition to financial compensation, he has been working hard to compensate the families of the victims. He took care of the victim's family member Cui Cui in his life, and even saved Cui Cui's mother and son when Cui Cui needed a large amount of blood transfusion after premature delivery. After the compensation, Song Danian had a very difficult life. He lost his job and worked everywhere.  單身父親宋大年是一名出租車司機，為了給兒子更好的生活條件，他在下班之餘也會接一些私活。在一次做酒後代駕的時候發生了意外，宋大年撞死了人。他對受害者家屬十分愧疚，除了經濟賠償之外也一直努力地對受害者家屬進行補償。他在生活中對受害者家屬翠翠關懷備至，甚至在翠翠早產後需大量輸血時挽救了翠翠母子的性命。賠償後宋大年的日子過得十分艱難，失去工作，到處打工。在最艱辛的日子裡，前妻一家以及朋友都對宋大年伸出了援助之手，也正因如此，無論多辛苦他也沒放棄過對生活的希望。翠翠也漸漸地被宋大年的真誠所感動，原諒了宋大年。最後，死者被發現原是自殺，洗清冤屈的宋大年和翠翠確立了感情。每一個人都對生活抱有了真心與善良的態度，人們渴望幸福，守護幸福，最終大家都獲得了幸福
